Government

The foremost web site is www.fedworld.gov , which is a "catch all" the government has with links to its many departments, including The National Technical Information Service.

An equally important site has the EPA's rules on environmental issues.

The Department of Energy's Office of Industrial Technologies (OIT) creates partnerships among industry, trade groups, government agencies, and other organizations to research, develop and deliver advanced energy efficiency, renewable energy and pollution prevention technologies for industrial customers. Most important to us is the Best Practices site. This site presents ways to improve the operation of motors and steam systems.

For those of you who want to do business with the New York State government, you should check out the New York State Office of General Services . Their site can advise you on how to bid state contracts and register as a minority business.
